'Tis the Season for Community Service

Yes, that would be me holding a bag of rice. No, I wasn't making dinner for friends ala Barefoot Contessa stye (I'm obsessed with that woman). Instead, I was packing kits of food for those in need at the LA Regional Food Bank with my fellow Alliance for Women in Media members.!
Why is it this time of year that we all can't help but want to do so much more? Why doesn't January give me the bug to do all I can for my fellow peers? I'm going to put that on the top of my list for New Year's resolutions...help ALL OF THE TIME. It feeds the soul, ignites unity and is just the right thing to do.
So here's a photo from last weekend's efforts...we filled almost 2,700 kits for those in need. The LA Regional Food Bank could use your help too! Every Saturday you can donate your time to assemble kits, or donate online. Feed the soul people!!!
